The Rehabilitation Empowerment and Better Health Initiative (REBHI) has graduated 20 women and girls in Konduga following a training programme on the production of reusable sanitary pads, face masks, and the assembly of dignity kits.

The initiative is designed to empower participants to meet their basic needs, promote self-reliance, and equip them with practical skills they can use to support themselves and others in their communities.

Speaking at the event, a representative of civil society, Mrs. Elizabeth, urged the beneficiaries to make proper use of the skills and materials provided, rather than selling them.

She emphasized that doing so would help them sustain their livelihoods and support their families. She further noted that REBHI’s core objective is to empower women and girls and contribute to economic growth.
Also speaking, the community leader of Ajare, Wakili Kolo, encouraged the participants to apply the knowledge they had gained.

He expressed appreciation to REBHI for organizing the training and offered prayers for the continued success of the organization.

The Programme Manager, Godiya Bulus, advised the women to remain committed and make the most of the opportunity, stressing that the organization’s role is to provide empowerment while the responsibility to succeed lies with them.

On behalf of the beneficiaries, Kaltum Alhaji Basheer expressed gratitude to REBHI for the training and pledged that the participants would utilize the skills acquired effectively without selling the materials given to them.
